Nicola Domenici was born in 1969 in Viareggio (Lucca). After the University and several experiences in the fields of jewellery and goldsmithery, he decides to devote himself to sculpture. After his graduation at the Academy of Fine Arts of Carrara, he opens his own atelier in Ortonovo (La Spezia). By means of his versatile tencnique he explores the effects of light on different materials such as marble, resin, bronze, aluminium, carbon. He has recently opened a new workshop in France, in the town of Lodève, near Montpellier, where he cooperates with the main local galleries. More info and critique
